Books & Brews

The Official Book Club of the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.

What is Books & Brews?

Books & Brews is a museum book club that pairs great Canadian works of fiction with our local stories and local brews. Presented in partnership with Mahtay Cafe & Lounge, participants will encounter new ideas, new stories, and new tastes - a new and non-traditional experience in the walls of the permanent galleries of the Museum.

Books & Brews 150 - Sept. 19; October 17; and Nov 17, 2017

Books & Brews Title

Books & Brews celebrates Canada 150

By mixing museum atmosphere with beer tasting and book club excitement, we're bringing museums into the 21st century.

A new kind of book club experience with a museum twist. Mingle, chat about books, learn new things, and experience brews in a whole new way. It's all happening at the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre.

Includes tasting seminars presented by Mahtay Cafe and Lounge, and podcast study guides for an enhanced immersive experience.
