Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects

Lyndesfarne Theatre Projects believes that theatre can do much more than entertain. It has created a theatre company whose community outreach and educational programming is as important as its live theatre productions. Outreach programs include the nationally acclaimed seniors program, Grey Matters, and Downtown Drama Drop In, an after school workshop series for children and youth-at-risk.

Lyndesfarne provides a variety of programming for youth and emerging artists. The Lyndesfarne Young Company is a vehicle for young artists to develop skills and knowledge through an intense training program set in a professional environment. Artistic and creative professional development for youth and adults is fostered through classes, workshops, internships, teaching opportunities, and a Summer Intensive with internationally acclaimed guest instructors.

Committed to a high caliber of theatre performance and production, Lyndesfarne offers arts patrons two to three mainstage productions of contemporary plays each year in Downtown St. Catharines.
