The Gallery Players of Niagara presents chamber music in the Niagara Region. They organize and perform chamber music in traditional and non-traditional venues, and focus on informal presentations that are meant to invite audiences in, remove barriers, demystify art and integrate the joy of small-scale music-making in people's daily lives. The Gallery Players is a not-for-profit charitable organization.
Typically the Gallery Players performs six concerts a season running from November to May. The group has produced two CDs, and commissioned many new works. The performers in the group play baroque, classical and modern instruments, and cover repertoire from 1600 to the present day.
