How Do I Register My Business Name?
New businesses can now register at the Small Business Enterprise Centre, 1 St Paul St. Unit 10. Registration is available online for a fee of $60.00. Additionally, persons can also perform business name searches through this office for a fee of $8.00. Payment must be made using VISA or Mastercard only.
For online services requiring payment, such as registering or renewing a business name you may pay online using a credit card by visiting www.ServiceOntario.ca and click on the Gateway for Business. If you do not have access to the Internet or do not have a credit card available, the nearest ServiceOntario location is 301 St. Paul Street, St. Catharines, ON. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (closed Statutory Holidays). Phone number 1-800-268-8758.
